Who: Meredith Davis is a believer, armchair scholar, avid reader, and writer. More specifically, she’s a published children’s author who also writes book reviews and poetry. When she isn’t writing, she wrangles her doodle, reads to her grandson, and relishes time around the table with family and friends.
What: A poem for every chapter of every book in the Bible.
When: All the poems are dated, going back to the month she began, February 22, 2021.
Where: Meredith writes poems where she lives in Austin, Texas, but also wherever she travels, so pretty much anywhere.
Why: Creating poetry connects Meredith to God and what He’s trying to tell her. It helps her concentrate and meditate and enjoy scripture. Sharing it here connects her to you, and she hopes you’ll give it a try. Connect to scripture creatively. It’s not about what you create, but how you get there. Ultimately, the Bible Poetry Project is about connections. If you’d like to connect with Meredith, click here.
